In an on going effort to replace every vehicle in the world with the NV200 Minivan, Nissan will be basing the next generation of GTR on it. The current twin turbo V6 will be replaced with a N/A 1.8L inline 4 mated with an electric motor from the Nissan Leaf. It will also forgo the current AWD setup for front-wheel drive. The only transmission available will be a CVT. The following image is a speculative rendering:

If this was true, I wouldn't dislike the GT-R any more than I do now.
